Carl H. Rosner, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer - Mr. Rosner was formerly Chairman, President and CEO of Intermagnetics General Corporation (IGC), a NASDAQ-listed Company with a market capitalization of just over $1 Billion. That company was acquired by Philips Nederlandse for $1.3 Billion. He retired from IGC as Chairman-Emeritus to devote his full time to building and developing CardioMag. Prior to founding IGC in 1971, he was Manager of General Electric’s Superconductive (S.C.) Products Operation. Mr. Rosner is a graduate of the Stockholm Institute of Technology, Newark College of Engineering and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering and business management. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and is the author and co-author of many published papers on superconductive and electronic devices. He holds seven patents and is a well-known authority in his field.
Tush P. Nikollaj, President and Chief Operating Officer - An accomplished and successful entrepreneur, he has spawned several technology companies by providing leadership guidance and advisory assistance. Mr. Nikollaj was the founder and former CEO of Logical Net Corporation. He attended Syracuse University majoring in Biology and Chemistry. He serves on the Board of the Albany Medical Center Foundation, the membership committee of the Center for Economic Growth and is a member of the Tech Valley Angel Network, as well as a number of educational and charitable boards.
Alexander A. Bakharev, Sr. Vice President, New Product Development - Mr. Bakharev is an internationally respected expert in MCG cryogenics and superconductivity and was formerly the Founder, President, CEO and Director of CES, a company specializing in development, manufacturing and sales of commercial MCG and MEG SQUID systems. Prior to founding CES, Mr. Bakharev worked for 15 years at Energy Enterprise (the Russian equivalent of NASA) where he held various senior management and technical positions. Mr. Bakharev is a graduate of the Moscow Mendeleyev Institute of Chemical Engineering with a Diploma of the Engineer in Chemical Technology (the equivalent of a US MS degree). He holds more than 10 patents and has published over 30 papers in the field of cryogenics.
Robert S. Sokolowski, Ph.D, Vice President, Business Development - Dr Sokolowski has broad experience establishing international business relationships and marketing partnerships while with IGC, Allied Signal and NASA. He is a graduate of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a PhD and B.S. in Materials Engineering and has an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Steven Karr, Ph.D, Project Manager, Regulatory Affairs - Dr Karr has an MSc from Carnegie Mellon and a Ph.D from Northwestern University, both in Biomedical Engineering. He has over 20 years experience with GE in medical imaging systems, including PET, CT, MRI and echocardiogram. He joined CardioMag in 2002, with a special remit for regulatory affairs.
Barbara Polidore, Financial Controller - Ms Polidore brings 18 years of Xerox Corporation and Citigroup financial management expertise to the Company. She is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport with an MBA in finance and a B.S. in Computer Information Systems with an Accounting Minor.
