CardioMag Selected in Wall Street Journal Contest
CardioMag Imaging was informed today that it had been selected as the first Runner-Up in the Medical Devices category of the Wall Street Journal’s prestigious annual Technology Innovation Awards Contest. In selecting winners, judges considered novel technologies from around the world in several categories: medicine and medical devices, wireless, security, consumer electronics, semiconductors and others, as well as whether the technology truly represents a breakthrough from conventional methods, rather than just an incremental improvement. Full coverage of all the awards appeared in the Journal Report Section of the September 11, 2006 edition. Online subscribers may read about it at http://www.wsj.com.
The Wall Street Journal will honor this year’s award recipients at a dinner to be held October 11, 2006 at the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, CA as part of the Dow Jones VentureWire’s Emerging Ventures Conference.
The Wall Street Journal received over 600 applications from over two dozen countries.
