CardioMag Imaging (CMI) was formed in 1999 to transition the results from over 30 years of R&D in Magnetocardiography (MCG) towards early commercialization. CardioMag's goal is to become the leader in non-invasive diagnostics of heart disease.

CardioMag has developed a sophisticated cardiac diagnostic device known as MagnetoCardioGraph- 2409 (MCG-2409). The system is a non-invasive diagnostic device which provides clinically relevant information about heart function. The MCG 2409 is the world's first and only MCG system to obtain FDA approval. The MCG-2409 is easy and safe to operate and provides faster diagnostic information than current modalities in market. Recent clinical research shows that the MCG-2409 system has the diagnostic power of nuclear imaging techniques such as Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT), but without the use of ionizing radiation and without subjecting patients to physical or pharmacologically induced stress. The system consists of advanced proprietary hardware and software and can operate in most typical hospital and clinical environments without special isolation from electromagnetic interference. Its installation does not involve significant facilities construction that is typical of MRI or lead shielding for equipment that generates harmful radiation.
